Naperville Wedding and Party DJs

The ceremony of marriage and its respective celebrations are intended to be memorable moments filled with happiness and joy. These events should be positive experiences for the newlyweds and all their guests. One key feature known to make weddings fun and memorable is great music. Given the occasion, why not do more than just have a friend plug up regular speakers to a regular computer to play some regular music? Get a DJ.

Planning for your nuptials involves more than choosing the location, decoration, food, and dress. A much overlooked aspect of bridal planning is the entertainment. The songs that will play during the actual marriage ceremony are rather easy to figure out. However it is the music that plays afterwards at the party that matters. The party that is held after the completion of a marriage ceremony is called the wedding reception. Guests anticipate the reception as it brings opportunity to further celebrate the new married couple. Also because it is here that they find the food, drinks, and most importantly the fun.

Having a disc jockey at the reception is essential to making it one of the best parties ever. The DJ knows what to play to get everyone dancing and will help keep the mood festive. A party without great songs is just not as fun. Disc jockey's keep things upbeat and give guests entertainment. Picture guests entering this cherished, private event and seeing a mic and sound system set up at a table off to the side. They immediately rejoice at the indication that they are in for a fun filled night.

Hiring a professional DJ for your wedding reception is highly recommended because they have the equipment necessary to blast everyone’s favorite tunes for hours with high quality audio. This includes a mic and sound system, as well as other equipment. As a side note, some DJ's have cool lights built into their services that add to the mood of the party. A good MC knows how to manipulate the mood with lighting and sound, and how to do so much more. Besides that, they have a collection of all the latest hits plus the best music for your big day! Most likely, the bride and groom already have a playlist in mind, which they can give to the staff. We are open to song requests from both them and the guests (if allowed by the bride and groom, it is their night!). This takes some of the work off of the organizers.

Disc jockey's that work private events professionally can be found here! Quality, professionalism, and making sure our guests have the best time are what we strive for! We are technically part of the entertainment industry, so we have some training when it comes to getting parties started. Oftentimes they double as an MC (a host of the event who engages all of the guests). By the way, DJ stands for disk jockey and MC stands for master of ceremonies. MC's do things like announce the beginning of the party and lead family friendly times on the dance floor.

A great time is at your fingertips!

It is important to let the disc jockey know what the first dance song should be, when to stop the entertainment for speeches (if any), and if the MC is needed for other reception related duties. This is also the time to get a feel for the DJ's style. Experience sometimes go the extra mile by getting a good temperature of the crowd using different music to gauge the guest participation in dancing. Disc jockey's sometimes step into the role of an MC throughout the evening to lift the mood of the guests and to have some fun themselves. Non traditional unions are where they get to really shine.

We may present event planners or clients with a contract prior to agreeing to provide their services. These contracts are relatively simple and include sections regarding payment terms, and when we are to arrive and leave. Pay attention to the deadline of payments to be sure there is not any interruptions in the planning phase.

Not everyone can afford entertainment, or even bigger ceremony with tons of attendees. Bigger events with all of the extravagant extras that can be added are a status symbol. These kinds of weddings give the impression that the newlyweds and their families are well off. This doesn't have to be the case! You can give your guests a great time by hiring us!
Matrimony services that occur before the reception are sometimes of a more serious tone. Depending on the culture and the personal preferences of the couple to be married, there may be one or a few other wedding services before the marriage ceremony. These private events could be extra opportunities for the families of the bride and groom to mingle with each other. While a DJ may not be appropriate in those settings, he or she can certainly recommend the kind of music that the soon to be newlyweds and their families would enjoy for that particular time frame.

Your guests tend to anticipate the reception as much as the marriage ceremony. So those looking to get married are encouraged to consider a professional and experienced wedding disc jockey. And think of it this way; they are one more person to attend your big day! That is another person celebrating with you. Best of luck in your future endeavors, we hope to be a part of your special day!
